AS Roma boss Claudio Ranieri was delighted to have Nicolas Burdisso available for their win over Inter Milan.
John Arne Riise made his comeback three weeks after suffering concussion on international duty in Norway and he put in the decisive cross for Mirko Vucinic's winner.
He said: "It was important to have everyone back. I also rediscovered Nicolas Burdisso, who before his red card at Cagliari hadn't actually trained with us at all.
"We rediscovered our balance and that determination that allowed us to have such a great Serie A run last season."
