Roma are considering an approach for Manchester United left back Alex Telles.

The capital club were rocked by the news that defender Leonardo Spinazzola will be out for much of the season with a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Calciomercato says new Roma boss Jose Mourinho will look at Telles from his old club United as a replacement.

The Brazilian is second choice with the Manchester club as he is behind Luke Shaw in the pecking order.

A short term loan deal may suit both parties, as Spinazzola is scheduled to recover in January or February.
