Manchester City midfielder Rodrigo believes the club will come back stronger after recent results.
City have been in mixed form since the start of the season, and they must find consistency to challenge for the title.
The Citizens managed a 1-1 draw with Liverpool in the league on Sunday, and Rodrigo believes it is a sign they are on the right track.
"We are a bit disappointed that we didn't win but we're happy with the we came back and I think that we defended their counter-attacks quite well," said the Spanish midfielder to the club website.
"This should be one the greatest games in the world - of course its so tight with the quality.
"But there is a long way to go in the season – we have one game less and we will come back stronger (after the international break)."
