Rodon envisages Tottenham teammate Davies as future manager

Joe Rodon believes his Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Ben Davies will become a manager after he retires from playing.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte recently hailed Davies' leadership ability, comparing him to Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

Speaking in a Q&A on the Spurs website, Rodon made the claim and Davies agreed.

"Oh my god he's going to be a manager. He will be a manager one day I promise you. (Turns to Davies) Genuinely you will be a manager, I promise," he said.

Davies replied: "Yes maybe," responded the 28-year-old. "We'll see. Will you be part of my staff?" Rodon responded: "I'll be your head of recruitment."
