Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers says Liverpool deserve the Premier League title.

Liverpool are waiting for the season to resume 25 points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.

Rodgers said, “Liverpool definitely deserves the title this season.

"This team was the most stable, the best in the championship, showing top-class football. It will be very unfortunate if Liverpool is not given gold.

"Merseysiders deserve it. It will also be a pity if the team cannot share the joy of victory with the fans due to a pandemic if it becomes a champion."
