Rodgers: Liverpool not bothered by Man Utd

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers insists Manchester United are no obsession for them.

Rodgers claims that United are no longer the team against whom they measure themselves.

"Manchester United are a great club," he told the Mail on Sunday. "They're a club used to winning titles. For us, it's a case of focusing on Liverpool and the history of this club.

"It's trying to recreate a club's great history in modern times. Our measurement isn't Manchester United. That's not the yardstick for us."
