Rodgers keeping Leicester focused after West Brom stretches top-four buffer

Leicester strengthened their top-four chances with a 3-0 victory over West Brom at the King Power Stadium.

Three goals in 13 first-half minutes put Leicester in the drivers seat.

Jamie Vardy broke the deadlock with 23 minutes on the clock, converting Timothy Castagne's assist.

Jonny Evans nodded in three minutes later to make it 2-0, before Castagne grabbed another assist by setting up Kelechi Iheanacho.

The Foxes now have a four-point gap to fourth-placed Chelsea.

And manager Brendan Rodgers says his side are focused solely on their own performances.

"I am not thinking about the other teams [in the race for a top four spot]. We have to think about ourselves. We can only control ourselves," said Rodgers.

"This group will sometimes lose games but they are so honest and they want to be better. When you have that it is the dream ticket. It is all you can ask for as a coach."
