Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Jon Flanagan will receive a new contract offer.
The locally produced full-back, 22, is out of contract this summer but Rodgers insists he will be handed a new deal soon.
"Hopefully Flanno's contract will be sorted out," Rodgers said of Flanagan who is on his way back to full fitness from a knee injury.
"He is working his way back to fitness and when that happens I am sure the contract will get sorted out.
"He is a big part of the future here. He did remarkably well last year and showed he is player who can play for many years at this level."
