MK Dons boss Karl Robinson is confident his side will be amongst League One promotion contenders next season. The Dons, beaten 4-3 on aggregate by Peterborough in last month's play-off semi-finalists, completed the signing of Dean Bowditch on Wednesday, while Mathias Koue-Doumbe and Jabo Ibehre have both signed new contracts.
Robinson said: "I'm still hurting from what happened at the end of last season.
"I'll never forget that and it's something that going to drive me forward and constantly keep challenging me to seek bigger and better things."
Robinson, added: "I'm delighted that we've signed up Mathias Kouo-Doumbe and Jabo Ibehre again, the younger players have also signed and I'm seeking signings that can jump straight into the first team.
"Dean Bowditch is a quality player and the players I'm talking to at the moment will make things better."
