Former Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Robinson says they must be careful with their buying in January.
When asked about Reading midfielder John Swift and Leeds' potential interest, Robinson admitted that they must get players who 'will hit the ground running' in the top-flight.
“They need proven players," the ex-Whites keeper told MOT Leeds News.
“In the Premier League, it's a very different calibre of player that you need, in January, you need them who will hit the ground running.
“You don't need players that will be in your starting XI in the next six to 12 months, the form Leeds are in and the injuries they've had, they need to sign players who will have an immediate impact on the squad."
