Robinho has revealed he intends to remain at Manchester City and has no intentions of leaving Eastlands. The former Real Madrid forward rediscovered his scoring touch on Sunday in the 4-2 victory against West Brom.

"Expectations are high about how the team will do but my aim is to remain here for a long time to come," Robinho told the club's official website.

"The manager gives me total confidence and the team help me to produce my best football.

"That goal gives me a lot more confidence to score more in the matches that we have left.

"There are no regrets on my part about coming here. Of course this is only my first year, and I try to get better and better every year. Hopefully in the future I will be even happier at this football club."
