Real Madrid great Roberto Carlos admits a move to Aston Villa could've happened.

Carlos says Villa could've launched his European career 25 years ago.

He discussed how he could have made a move to England early in his career, but eventually decided to make the switch to Inter Milan.

"I was still playing in Brazil with Palmeiras when Aston Villa came in for me in 1995 but they couldn't afford the deal," he told Goal.

"After that, I went to Inter."
