RKC Waalwijk coach Fred Grim would love to work again with Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.
Grim gave Janssen a debut with Almere City as a youngster and knows his former protege is seeking a deadline day move away from Spurs.
"We really had to work with him, he had to make steps," Grim told Omroep Brabant.
"But he wanted to get better. He was good to coach, was open to learning.
"In the end he became good enough and he made a conscious choice with AZ."
Grim added: "He can certainly come here. But I do not think that is realistic. The most important thing is that he has to play, make minutes. It is of no use to sit on the bench."
