River Plate vice-president Jorge Brito admits they're in talks to sell Santiago Sosa to Everton.

Everton have been heavily linked with the Argentinian youth international who featured at the under-20 World Cup this summer.

Ole asked Brito about Everton's interest to which he replied: “There is a negotiation opened for Sosa, but I don't want to give more details."

Journalist Nicolas Distasio added: “Sosa's transfer is closer to collapse than to materialising

“Because of the community (EU) passport, work visa, requirements that the Premier League requests when incorporating the players, [he] couldn't play for Everton and in the English league."
