Brazilian great Rivaldo has told Gabriel Jesus to stay with Manchester City.

Gabriel has been linked with Juventus and Inter Milan in recent weeks.

But Rivaldo wrote for Betfair: "Sergio Agüero's season may be over because of an injury, so Gabriel Jesus will have a golden opportunity to establish himself as a starting player in this crucial part of the season. Therefore, he should focus and build his confidence by scoring goals and helping his team reach the set goals.

"At the same time there are rumours that Inter can recruit Gabriel Jesus if they sell Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona. Had it been I, however, I would have preferred to stay with City.

"Gabriel Jesus has acclimatised himself to English football, to the city of Manchester, and is trained by one of the best. Staying there would probably be the best option for him at present."
