Newcastle United midfielder Matt Ritchie is confident they'll be safe this season.
He says the team are "in a good moment" - top of the form table over the last six games with 13 points and four wins.
Ritchie said: "I am confident in the team. We are nearly there. We are in a real good moment and I am hopeful and optimistic.
"Of course you want a manager of Rafa Benitez's calibre to stay. It is down to the manager to decide and the players can't effect that. Our only focus is staying in the Premier League and playing week in week out."
