Riqui Puig insists he has no plans of leaving Barcelona.

Patrick Kluivert, Barcelona's director of youth football, says it would be beneficial for Puig to leave the club on loan.

"At all times I have said that I want to stay at Barcelona," Puig said at an event held by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

"There's a lot of people upstairs and opportunities [in the first team] are rare.

"At the moment I do not plan on leaving the club and I am very happy in Barcelona.

"I'm going to stay here for now."
