AC Milan coach Rino Gattuso was reluctant to talk himself up after victory at Roma last night.
It was suggested to Gattuso that he deserves to be confirmed for next season.
But he insisted: "This is up to the management, certainly if they propose it now I do not sign for superstition, but the priority is to this club and these men who gave me an incredible chance, I'm working calmly and I have to continue, certainly the priority will be Milan, I'm proud to train a team where I feel at home.
"The players are good because they believe a lot about what they are told: we do not just look at the beautiful games but the attitudes, the important thing is that the boys behave like brothers on the field and make themselves available to each other."
Asked if goalscorer Patrick Cutrone deserves an Italy call, Gattuso added: "Cutrone must improve, he has very precise characteristics but he has to play cleaner as in the second half of today."
