Riise slams Everton boss Ferguson: He didn't even shake his hand

Liverpool hero John Arne Riise has slammed Everton caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson for his treatment of Moise Kean at Manchester United on Sunday.

For the 1-1 draw, caretaker manager Ferguson hauled Kean off in the 89th minute - less than 20 minutes after substituting him on.

Riise said on beIN Sports: "He knows when he puts him with 20 minutes to go that it is going to be a hectic ending - Man Utd are going to be pushing and pushing.

"Sometimes in football you have to look at the human part as well because yes there is a football match going on but he is destroying this young boy's confidence.

"He doesn't even shaken his hand or anything. He probably doesn't speak the language and that sort of thing and he has absolutely destroyed the young boy.

"You don't do that. It doesn't matter how important the game is you have to think about the person."
