Roma left-back John Arne Riise has categorically denied claims by the News of the World that he has requested to re-join former club Liverpool. "I never said I wanted to return to Liverpool and I never made those statements," Riise said via the Giallorossi press office. "I am settled here in Rome and I want to stay."
Riise left Liverpool for Roma in the summer of 2008 after spending seven seasons with the Reds.
