Liverpool winger Albert Riera is eager to see manager Rafa Benitez make quality signings this summer.

"If we can add some players it will help us to play better. We had a great season this year and we were unlucky not to be champions," said the Spain midfielder.

"We played more as a team ­because we played without Stevie Gerrard or Fernando Torres - and the team continued playing well."
