Micah Richards will bring with to Aston Villa the winner's mentality that Tim Sherwood is looking for.
The 27-year old defender arrived at Villa Park from Manchester City this summer where he helped the club win the 2012 and 2014 Premier League titles.
Villa boss Sherwood believes the addition of Richards is just what the doctor ordered as he looks to change the overall mindset of the West Midlands club.
"He is a winner. He is a Premier League champion at a great age and is hungry for success," said Sherwood.
"What he brings more than anything is a winning mentality."
