Former Barcelona coach and director Carles Rexach expects Ronald Koeman to return.

The Holland coach turned down the chance to replace Ernesto Valverde over the New Year as he is committed to leading his country at the Euros.

But Rexach, who is an adviser to presidential candidate Joan Laporta, told Sport: "Koeman will return to Barça.

"He has time, he is young. He has a lot of experience and a lot of personality.

"In many moments he has been very close to signing for Barça."
