Sporting Kansas City's appeal for Matt Besler's red card has been rejected.
?SKC lodged the claim after their centre-back was sent off in the 70th minute of the weekend's 1-1 draw with New York Red Bulls for a second yellow card when fouling Bradley Wright-Phillips.
?However, an independent review panel have deemed Besler's offences as being enough for a caution meaning his red card will stand.
?The USA international will be sidelined for Saturday's trip to Toyota Stadium in Frisco to take on FC Dallas.?
