Zinedine Zidane is at the centre of a flashpoint between Real Madrid and Paul Pogba's camp.El Mundo Deportivo says Real president Florentino Perez urged Zidane, the club's Castilla coach, to sound out Juventus midfielder Pogba about moving to Madrid.

However, Zizou resisted meeting with Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, and went directly to the player to discuss Real - which angered the representative.

Raiola has since spoken out against Real and their transfer policy, insisting there's little chance of Pogba moving to Madrid.

Zidane was again publicly speaking this week about Pogba being on Real's radar.
