Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane turned off president Florentino Perez from buying Neymar last summer, it has been revealed.
Florentino was eager to bring the former Barcelona star back to Spain - and had laid the foundations of a transfer by maintaining regular contact with the father of the PSG star.
But in a new book, 'PSG: Change or Die', being serialised in SoccerLink, it's been revealed Zidane pushed Florentino to drop his plans and focus on bringing Neymar's teammate Kylian Mbappe to Madrid in 2020.
It's claimed Zidane told his president over the summer: "He's a lazy guy.
"I do not want a guy who does not work and relies solely on his talent..."
