Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo gave his long-time agent Jorge Mendes an ultimatum before the pair split up this winter.
The 37-year-old departed Manchester United and European football for the Saudi Arabian league after the World Cup.
The transfer was engineered by Ricardo Regufe, with El Mundo claiming that Mendes no longer handles Ronaldo's moves.
Ronaldo asked Mendes to get him to either Chelsea or Bayern Munich this winter.
When neither of those moves materialized, he lost faith in Mendes and moved on to using Regufe.
Both Bayern and Chelsea turned down the chance to sign Ronaldo.
