Liverpool's stance on Jude Bellingham has been explained by various media outlets.
The Reds are said to have pulled out of the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund star.
Bellingham, per Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg, will not be moving to the Anfield club in the summer.
He states that the Reds believe his price will be “exorbitantly" high during the transfer window.
Given the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City are eager to sign Bellingham, Liverpool have accepted they cannot compete.
While the club admires Bellingham, they have limited funds to boost manager Jurgen Klopp's squad and will move on to alternatives.
