Liverpool have dropped their interest in Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly.
The Mirror says Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards is reportedly not interested in coming back to the table for Kelly this summer because of the way the player's agents conducted themselves last year.
Defender Kelly was closely monitored by Liverpool last summer as he prepared to leave Bristol City, but he chose to join the Cherries for £13million due to the offer of more first-team football.
He made his top-flight debut in the defeat at Wolves on June 24, and played eight times as he was unable to save his side from relegation, which eventually led to manager Eddie Howe leaving the club by mutual consent.
The Athletic reports Kelly was of interest to Liverpool due to his ability to play at both left-back and centre-back, but Edwards has no interest due to the way the potential deal was handled last year.
