Chelsea are delaying the announcement of Frank Lampard as their new manager.
A deal was meant to be announced today, but it appears the wait could be a little longer.
According to the Mirror, Lampard has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with his former club.
But the announcement got delayed as several social media sites crashed earlier today.
The Blues will now wait until Thursday or Friday, as they want all their fans around the world to hear the news of Lampard returning as manager.
The Englishman will replace Maurizio Sarri, who chose to depart for Juventus earlier in the summer.
Lampard is hoping to headstart a revolution at Chelsea, which will feature many young players from the club's academy.
