REVEALED: What Ten Hag told Man Utd flops in Sunday crisis meeting

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag held a lengthy crisis meeting on Sunday after calling the players following defeat to Brentford.

Ten Hag cancelled their scheduled day off after the humiliating 4-0 defeat away to Brentford.

A number of the players were unhappy at this having already made plans with their families.

But Ten Hag had them running in the 30 degree heat less than 24 hours after playing in the same temperatures at Brentford.

He also sat them down inside their Carrington base and ripped into them, says The Sun.

The Dutchman told them to stop feeling sorry for themselves and to start showing some fight and belief.

Ten Hag, 52, warned them that if they didn't change, the hole they have dug themselves, after two consecutive defeats to open the season, would only get deeper.
