Newcastle United managing director Amanda Staveley insists they won't go spend crazy.
Now with the backing of the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund, Newcastle have become the most financially powerful club in the game.
But Staveley has stated they won't be spending huge amounts in the transfer market.
"In a very joking sense, I said to Amanda Staveley when I spoke to her on the first day: So when are you going to sign (Kylian) Mbappé?
"She said, 'No, we can't do that. You know it wouldn't do us any good right now. We have to be reasonable and we want to be sustainable'. They are not just going to throw money away," said George Caulkin of the Athletic during his appearance on The David Ornstein Show.
