Leicester City had to pay nearly £9 million to get Brendan Rodgers from Celtic in the middle of the season.
Many eyebrows were raised when Rodgers jumped ship from the Scottish champions within a few days of Leicester sacking Claude Puel.
And it has been revealed that in order to make the move happen, Leicester had to fork over a massive fee to Celtic.
According to the Telegraph, such a fee was added to Rodgers' contract at Celtic, as they knew that he would be an eventual target for a Premier League side.
There is disappointment among Celtic fans at the way Rodgers left, given his team were in the middle of a title race.
