Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard was welling up in the aftermath of yesterday's amazing 3-2 win over Manchester City. A tearful Gerrard was clearly aware that Liverpool had made a significant step towards a first Premier League title.
But the England captain urged his squad to quickly forget Sunday's 3-2 victory over Manchester City and turn their attention to the games ahead.
Gerrard halted his team-mates celebrations to ensure they remained grounded for the weeks ahead.
With an emotionally-charged Anfield crowd in full voice, Gerrard called on his side not to slip up, saying: "Listen, this is gone. We go to Norwich. Exactly the same. We go together. Come on!"
