Amiens striker Serhou Guirassy could already be an Arsenal player - and for just £1m.
Guirassy is a potential target for Mikel Arteta, who may need to bolster his frontline with the long-term futures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette at the Emirates unclear.
Back in May 2016, talkSPORT that the frontman had emerged on Arsene Wenger's radar, the iconic French boss of course having a nous for picking up talents from his homeland.
Then 20, Guirassy was then on loan at Auxerre from Lille and it was claimed Arsenal scouts watched him extensively for the Ligue 2 club.
That season, he produced eight goals and two assists in just 16 league appearances.
The Gunners were said to be willing to pay up to £1million to sign Guirassy, though did not follow up their interest and that summer signed the likes of Lucas Perez, Takuma Asano, Granit Xhaka, Rob Holding and Shkodran Mustafi instead.
Instead, Guirassy was sold to Bundesliga club Koln in the summer of 2016.
