Toulouse president Olivier Sadran wanted to sell Jean-Clair Todibo to Manchester City this month, it has been revealed.

The French defender has now agreed to join Barcelona in a Bosman deal, according to Spanish media sources.

However, RMC says if it had been up to Sadran, Todibo would be on his way to City. Indeed, the TFC president had aleady agreed a fee with City.

But Todibo, who is off contract in June, has instead agreed terms with Barca, it is now being claimed.

The teenage defender isn't expected to move to the Blaugrana until June.
