Tottenham midfielder Lucas Moura was offered to Barcelona on deadline day, it has been revealed.

Quim Domenech, a journalist with El Chiringuito, says Barca were offered Lucas' services on Sunday night. The Catalan club however did not follow up because of its payroll. Barca had to sell to make room for the midfielder.

It was suggested Lucas was offered to Barca as an alternative to PSG star Neymar.
