REVEALED: Spurs chairman Levy has Pochettino tied to anti-Prem clause

Sacked Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino would have to give up his payout if he took another manager's job this season.

The Daily Express says Pochettino would have to repay Tottenham his £12.5million pay-off if he takes another Premier League job this season.

Pochettino and his coaching team pocketed more than £20m between them when they were axed by Spurs and replaced by Jose Mourinho two weeks ago.

But thanks to a clause inserted into his contract by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy he will have to give it back if he moves to any Premier League clubs who may come calling before the summer.

Pochettino will have the pick of any top European jobs that come up after leading Spurs to four successive top-four finishes in the Premier League and the Champions League final last season.
