Sevilla striker Quincy Promes is a surprise target for Barcelona.

Barca are seeking a reserve forward to act as cover for Luis Suarez and Promes is an option.

That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito.

"Barça wants to sign Promes, a wide player, the forward of Sevilla, a player who is loved by the directors and has a clause of €150m," says Inda.

Valverde is particularly attracted to Promes due to his versatility. The Dutchman can play as a striker, winger and even as a wing-back.
