Manchester United attacker Anthony Elanga was turned down by a raft of Segunda Division clubs in Spain last summer.
Convinced he was not going to have many opportunities under United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, his agents began looking for teams in the Segunda in order to gain experience.
However, after approaching most of the SmartBank Liga clubs, none considered him interesting, says AS.
So instead, he decided to start the season at United and wait for the winter market to look for other exit options.
However, Elanga has managed to establish himself as a key player this season after his Spanish rejection.
