Real Madrid players are fully impressed by Ferland Mendy's impact this season.

The former Lyon defender is in his first season in Spain and is now established ahead of Marcelo as Real coach Zinedine Zidane's first-choice left-back.

Le Parisian says Mendy has quickly won over his teammates - including skipper Sergio Ramos.

Just recently, Raphael Varane said: "The physical form he has is incredible.

"He adapts very well. Defence is his strong point but he helps us in all aspects of the game."
