REVEALED: Real Madrid and Napoli have James 'pact'

Napoli's move for Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez is being revived.

La Repubblica says Napoli will sign the Colombian international on loan in a deal which has been agreed by the two clubs' presidents. It won't be announced until after the 15th August.

The agreement revolves around there being no offers to buy James arriving before that date.

Real Madrid would prefer to raise cash to fund other deals but, if none arrive, he'll be loan to Napoli.

Atletico Madrid are the most interested inside as both president Enrique Cerezo and coach Diego Simeone have admitted they would love to add the midfielder to their new-look side.

If the deal happens, it would be the second team which has loaned James from Real Madrid in recent times. He's previously spent two years on loan with Bayern Munich who opted not to make his move permanent.
