PSG striker Kylian Mbappe expects to sign for Real Madrid this summer.
Le Parisien via AS says Mbappe has informed PSG management that he will not consider new contract talks.
With his deal having less than a year to run, Mbappe could leave for nothing in a year's time. However, the striker would prefer to make the move to Madrid this month.
Everything will depend on PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who must now decide whether to sell or allow Mbappe to walk away for nothing in a year's time. It's been suggested Al-Khelaifi is reluctant to lose face by allowing Mbappe to leave as a free agent next June.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, are waiting in the wings and share the same opinion as Mbappe in terms of closing a transfer as soon as possible. Real do not wish to leave things open to losing Mbappe to a rival in a Bosman deal in 2022.
The young striker has famously twice turned down Real Madrid in the past - first as a junior player and later when leaving AS Monaco.
