Stefano Pioli could yet stay with AC Milan next season - even if Ralf Rangnick arrives.
Milan chief exec Ivan Gazidis has been in talks with Rangnick for some months about joining the Rossonero.
It was originally claimed the current Red Bull football chief would arrive to replace Pioli - along with taking charge of the front office.
However, Tuttosport says there is now discussions around Rangnick joining as a technical manager, with Pioli left in charge of the first team.
Gazidis has now made an offer to Rangnick, who is taking time during the coronavirus suspension to consider his options.
