PSG made a deadline day bid for Arsenal defender Sokratis, it has been revealed.
Telefoot says PSG chief Leonardo made a late move for the Greece international, who is on the outer of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta's plans.
PSG coach Thomas Tuchel had requested a centre-half signing.
Leonardo pushed Arsenal to release Sokratis from his contract, but they insisted he would only leave for a fee. The veteran defender's contract runs to 2021.
The 32 year-old had also held talks with Napoli this summer, but he now remains an Arsenal player.
