Manchester City prospect Claudio Gomes was a personal signing made by manager Pep Guardiola, it has been revealed.
Tempted away from PSG in 2018, Gomes signed for City that summer, though has struggled to find his place in the club's system since then.
Gomes is this season on-loan at PSV Eindhoven, where he is turning out for the Jong PSV reserve-team.
Le Parisien says the initial move from PSG was instigated by Guardiola, who convinced the youngster after holding face-to-face talks.
Gomes' loan with PSV runs to the end of the season.
