Liverpool's hopes of landing Jude Bellingham are based on whether they qualify for the Champions League.

The Reds are likely to crash out of the competition this season in the round of 16 against Real Madrid.

However, they must finish in the Premier League top four to make it into next year's edition.

Per The Mail, if they are to nab England star Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, they must offer Champions League football.

The Reds are also pushing to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea as he is in a contract dispute.

If they do not make the Champions League, however, those pursuits would be tough to pull off.
