Manchester United have tabled a bid for Lille star Nicolas Pepe.

Yahoo Sport France reports United have made an offer for the Ivory Coast international, which was turned down by Lille.

However, it's also been revealed United have reached terms with Pepe's management about a contract.

The 24 year-old is also a target for Napoli, where coach Carlo Ancelotti is a big fan.

And after United's offer fell short, Lille are expecting the Italians to make a counter bid.
