REVEALED: New PSG owners held talks with Arsenal boss Wenger before turning to Leonardo

PSG's new owners have held talks with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

SkySport24 says before they went for Inter Milan coach Leonardo, PSG met with Wenger and discussed the prospect of him leaving the Gunners to oversee the new project at the fallen French giants.

PSG have come under control of the Qatar Investment Authority, which now own 70 per cent of the club.

Their priority was to lure Wenger away to become new manager, but after he refused they went for Leonardo.
