REVEALED: Mourinho banged on Chelsea locker room door 'give me Ianni!'

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho went gunning for Chelsea coach Marco Ianni in the immediate aftermath of Saturday's 2-2 draw.

The Sun says Mourinho received an apology after hammering on the Blues' dressing-room door and demanding to speak to Ianni after their dugout bust-up.

Mourinho reacted furiously when Ianni celebrated Ross Barkley's last-gasp equaliser.

And it emerged that Mourinho then tried to confront Ianni as tempers flared in the tunnel.

Mourinho rapped on the home dressing room and demanded for Ianni to “speak to his face" and repeat what was said on the touchline during the assistant's wild celebrations at 2-2.

Ianni would not come to the door and another member of the Blues staff, who knew Mourinho, spoke to him. Chelsea stars feared it escalating but their boss Maurizio Sarri acted as peacemaker.

He invited Mourinho in, where the United boss and Ianni, who has since been charged by the FA, spoke and the apology was issued.
